Yesterday, 21st Century Fox announced its fiscal year and Q4 2017 financial results. Afterward, the company held an earnings call featuring Executive Chairman Lachlan Murdoch, CEO James Murdoch and CFO John Nallen. The call was an opportunity for 21CF to discuss a wide range of topics, including the exciting growth in the DMVPD marketplace, reaching customers in increasingly diverse ways, the strength of 21CF’s TV and film businesses, and more.

TOLO News, a privately run Afghan TV news station owned by MOBY Group, has won the 2016 Agence France-Presse (AFP) Kate Webb Prize for its reporting in one of the world’s most dangerous countries. 21st Century Fox invested in MOBY Group in 2012 and currently has a 48 percent ownership stake in the intrepid media company.

Social Impact

The Television Club at Bishop Kearney High School recently received a state-of-the-art renovation of its studio, thanks to 21st Century Fox. The company purchased new equipment for the school’s student-run news station, WBKS, and professionals from Fox 5 trained the students on how to operate it.
