Five of Afghanistan's leading female coaches, nonprofit directors and sports professionals recently visited the FOX Sports headquarters in Los Angeles to discuss how best to encourage young women in their home country to participate in sports. The International Visitors Council of Los Angeles (IVCLA) arranged the trip as part of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program for professional and cultural exchanges.

At the Second Annual Social Good Awards Breakfast in New York City, Cynopsis Media recognized FOX Sports Supports as this year's "Social Good Shining Star," while awarding several honorable mentions to programming at National Geographic. The April 7 event honored the television industry's outstanding social responsibility initiatives, for which 21st Century Fox brands received seven nominations.

Fox Networks Group is taking another step to ensure consumers are able to watch its leading-class content when they want, where they want by making FOX Broadcasting, FX, National Geographic and FOX Sports (including national sports and Regional Sports Networks) available on Sling TV’s new $20-per-month live beta multi-stream service.

On March 22, members of the Women of FOX Sports group volunteered at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), a nonprofit hospital providing care to more than 107,000 children each year. The event came as part of CHLA's annual #MakeMarchMatter campaign, through which the hospital aims to raise $1 million in support of its programs and services.

FOX Sports is taking the Big East men’s basketball tournament where it’s never been before: virtual reality. The 2016 tournament, which kicks off Wednesday, March 9, at Madison Square Garden, will be aired on FS1 through the semifinals, with the final airing Saturday, March 12, on FOX. All games will be available for streaming on the FOX Sports GO app.
