To mark Veterans Day (Saturday, Nov. 11) in the U.S., FOX Sports hosted a number of special programming events this past weekend. From Thursday through Sunday, FOX Sports invited active military members and veterans to be part of live studio audiences and took some of its shows on the road to Pier 10 on the Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, Virginia.

FOX Sports launched in 1994 as a single network with just one sport. Now, it is paving the way in sports broadcasting. Last week, FOX Sports celebrated its birthday on the Fox Studios Lot in Los Angeles with an inaugural Founders Day, kicking off its 24th NFL season.

NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick, the 2014 NASCAR premier series champion, announced last month that his role as part of the FOX NASCAR broadcast team will increase in 2017, with the pilot of the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Ford Fusion serving as a full-race race analyst for eight FOX NASCAR events, beginning with the NASCAR XFINITY Series opener from Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 25, on FS1.
