Adam West, notably known for his role as the titular character Batman (the film was produced and distributed by 20th Century Fox Film in 1966), created a formidable connection with his fan base, nationally and internationally. In homage to Adam, who will forever be a pop culture icon and hero, we are sharing a few of our favorite photographs of him with his ever-dedicated fans.

He is and will be greatly missed.

While the film experienced a few production challenges, some of the most spectacular sets were created for “Cleopatra,” which premiered in New York City on June 12, 1963.

FX’s new show “FEUD: Bette and Joan,” premiering Sunday, March 5, will tell the story of the rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon). In light of the show, we thought it would be fascinating to look back at some photography from the set of “Hush…Hush, Sweet Charlotte,” which was distributed by 20th Century Fox Film in 1964.

Today, Oct. 28, is the 88th anniversary of the dedication ceremony for the Los Angeles Fox Studio lot. Below are aerial photographs of the lot, also known as Movietone City, showing how it has transformed over the decades.

I love behind-the-scenes photography. The Fox Archives has gorgeous portraits, scene stills and Fox lot photography, but the photographs that depict what happens off camera are my personal favorite.

In memory of Gene Wilder, known for making us laugh, I'm sharing a few of my favorite photographs of him breaking character and having a few laughs of his own on the set of “Young Frankenstein,” distributed by 20th Century Fox Film in 1974.
