'Grease: Live' and
Social Impact

“Grease: Live” isn’t done yet: FOX’s hit live musical event is partnering with for its annual Teens for Jeans campaign, which calls youth in the U.S. to collect gently used jeans for donation to local shelters.

“Grease: Live” is the word! The live, one-night musical event was a hit with viewers and critics alike. It drew a same-day audience of 12.2 million, marking FOX’s most-watched Sunday in nearly 13 years, excluding sports. We spoke with David Madden, president of entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company, the morning after to get his perspective on the show.

The journey to making “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” starts in a used bookstore in Vancouver roughly six years ago. I was shooting a film there when I spotted a copy of “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson” on the shelf. I bought it because I was a fan of Jeffrey Toobin.
